This is the first post in the Joomla 1.7 petitions pluggin forum. I have just clean installed Joomla 1.7. There seems to be a problem, perhaps all are related to a single line of code somewhere. My observations are below:-
1. The petition page shows up OK, but after signing the page it shows a 404 error. When I go to the home page or hit the back button button it says "Your signature was added. Thank you!" in green. This means the petition gets signed none the less inspite of the 404 error.
This is confirmed by the fact that when I go to the petition page again the signature is added. It seems a page refresh problem somewhere.

2. While I view the pages of the signatories, right after page 2 it shows a 404 error. I have checked in the database all the rows of data is there.

3. The left menu of the site changes while showing the error. The menu which gets displayed is the top menu of the site, which seems to have changed positions on showing the error.

I don't know the "article?id=198" pattern.
