I have a glossary set up on my site and it works great. However, when I have a term that is an email address it highlights the first part of the email and stops the email link working.

For example:
DC is in the glossary
DC@email.com DC still gets highlighted

Is there a way to stop it highlighting if it is a email? I still want all the other terms on the page highlighting.

Hi Paul, plugin is searching trough entire text does not matter if the word is an email address or part of the path to some image like
/images/DC/my_image.jpg

You have to change the glossary or the email address.

Isn't there any other way to prevent a glossary item from getting highlighted when it's a link? That would be.. great!

Hi Paul, Glossary plugin is applied all over your article.
I understand it would be better to exclude some HTML tags but I don't plan to change the behavior at this time. However thank you for your idea about improving Glossary plugin. I really appreciate it.
